The Tomahawk steak is a cut of beef that has five or more inches of extra bone for presentation. It is called "tomahawk" because the steak with the long bone resembles an axe.
Buffalo meat is the red meat with the lowest fat content and extremely high nutritional value, while it is a delicious nutritious food. In a beautiful area, close to the Greek-Bulgarian border, on the northwestern edge of the prefecture of Serres and on the shores of Lake Kerkini and Strymon, fifteen buffalo breeders raise approximately 3,500 animals in free-range conditions.
