🥩 Beef Flap Stuffed with Baby Spinach & Italian Prosciutto

✨ Description

A fine piece of beef, the “flap” (a thin, soft and flavorful piece from the abdominal area of the animal), stuffed with a refined mixture of:

✔️ Baby spinach – tender, slightly sweet and fresh
✔️ Authentic Italian prosciutto – finely sliced, aromatic, with a rich, ripe flavor
✔️ Optional – yellow cheese or a thin layer of mustard for more intensity

The stuffed beef flap is artfully rolled and tied so that it remains juicy and retains all the flavor of the filling inside during baking.

A restaurant dish ... that you serve at home!


🔥 Baking Method

🏠 In the oven (ideal):

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C .

  2. First, brown the flap in a pan with olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side (optional but recommended).

  3. Place on a baking sheet, cover with parchment paper or aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes (depending on thickness).

  4. Uncover for the last 10 minutes to brown.

  5. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

🍷 Suggestions for accompaniments:

Mashed potatoes, rice with butter and peas, roasted vegetables or mushroom risotto.


❄️ Maintenance Method

  • Fresh (raw):
    In the refrigerator (0–4°C) up to 2–3 days
    In the freezer (-18°C): Up to 3 months

  • Marinated/ready stuffed:
    Consume within 48 hours from the date of preparation or store in the freezer.

It is recommended to defrost in the refrigerator 12 hours before baking for an even result.
